Now you can form the last bend on transverse duct!

Or form “up” flanges on either side of a tab by removing apron fingers.

Assorted apron fingers plus moveable blocks on the table allow you to create two or more “down flange” openings anywhere you need them. The last bend on transverse duct is now easy to form. Why wait at the end of the line when you can do it now?

Built to last AND to be rebuildable in the real world:

clamp cams, vertical guide assembly, clamp finger sets, entire clamp, apron bushings, apron fingers, and the apron leaf are replaceable, and reasonably priced.

….• IMPORTANT feature: Each clamp finger is individually adjustable for leading edge alignment, helping you avoid "the dimples" over time, and greatly increasing the useful life of the finger set. Replacement fingers, individually or in sets, are readily available and affordable.

….• Two extra clamping fingers are included: one SPECIAL 4" FINGER  to bend up to 3/16" mild steel w/o adjusting beam set back or clamping pressure, plus one spare stock 4" finger.

• .Bolt on radius bars are optional, including 1/16” through 1/2” radius (1/2" r = 1" dia.), OR, add radius to the leading edge of the clamp fingers in a wide range of radii. For larger radii see our Radius Brake..

• Stock clamp finger widths are 2”, 3” & 4”. OR, you may specify any assortment or width up to the full width of the brake. Ask about the low cost of additional fingers or full sets. How about a few 8” fingers, or 24”, or a one piece finger the full width of the brake?

• Stock apron finger widths are 2”, 3”, 3 ½”, 4”, 6”, 12” & 35 ½”. This assortment of apron fingers along with the moveable table blocks allow you to create a “down flange” opening any where you need it.

• 4’, 5’, 6’, 8’ & 10’ models. All are 1” over length   • Maximum depth of box using clamp fingers: 4 1/2 inches    • 16ga, 14ga, or 12ga mild steel capacity on 1 1/2” flange with apron angle installed  • Minimum reverse bend: 1/2” (or may be ordered with optional 1/4” return)  • Beam set back adjustment: 1” (additional set back is optional and will be needed for bolt on radius bars over 1” diameter)  • Lift of beam*: 2 1/4” at leading edge of fingers  • Six (6)* adjustable rods or plates for center alignment. *Exceptions: # U4-4816 & U4-4814: lift of beam 1 1/4”; one counter weight; 4 adjustable truss'

• Stop rod for repeat bends is included •  All these models are floor mount except 4’ 16ga (legs optional)

Three year material and workmanship warranty. Transportation is the buyer’s expense.

Down Flange apron and table is also available on straight (non-finger) brakes
