ProFormer Radius Brake
It's FAST It's CONSISTENT It's your answer to forming radius
bends ! . The apron swings OUTSIDE the radius and it ROLLS to minimize stress
and scraping on your material. Great for radii from 1/2" or smaller, to
3" & larger. (Reminder: radius equals one half the diameter).
Mild Steel Capacity: 6' model using 1/2" radius: 72"
16ga, 48" 14ga, 24" 12ga, 4" of 1/4" mild steel. 8' model
(shown) using 1/2" radius: 96" 18ga, 48" 16ga, 24" 14ga,
4" of 3/16" mild steel. 10' model with 3" & 4" diameter
tubes: 20 ga full length mild steel capacity. . Choose your length: models are
available from 4' to 10'
You get 5 radii with 4' 6' & 8' models: 4 radius tubes + 1
radius head (shown with 1/2" radius head installed and the 4 radius tubes
on storage hangers behind the brake) Tubes are used for radii 1" and
larger. Four radius tubes are included: 2" tube for 1" radius 2
1/2" tube for 1 1/4" radius 3" tube for 1 1/2" radius
4" tube for 2" radius
The fifth radius included with 4' 6' & 8' models is on a
RADIUS HEAD (shown) giving great strength for radii 1/2" or smaller.
Tube or round stock with a diameter equal to 2X the radius is welded to a
head assembly. You may specify the radius (1/2" is stock).
To change the radius, swap a top (radius head or tube). It
takes about 5 minutes to swap & adjust.
